I have had so many random things to blog about in the past few days that I have been keeping a list next to my laptop and/or on my hand aka "palm pilot." So let's see if I can go in any order...let's trying alphabetical:
Boxers or Briefs: It was the name of a board game that Nat owns, Star, Tracy, Melissa, Doc, Nat and I played it for hoursssss tonight. It was hilarious; I highly suggest looking into the game. The game mainly embarrassed or tortured people, it was awkward and hilarious. Definitely 2 thumbs up. If you're curious ask me about the game.
Centerstage: So the other night Stat, Nat & I watched Centerstage which clearly is a great cheesy movie to begin with, but watching it also made me sad. The movie took place at the American Ballet Company or whatever...which was literally the School of American Ballet in Lincoln Center. Why would this make me sad, but while I was interviewing for assistantships at NYU for grad school I interviewed with the School of American Ballet for a Hall Director Position and fell in love with the people. I clicked so much so with the people who interviewed me that they invited me to campus after the interview to get a tour of the school. The place was in the heart of NYC, with a great location and A-mazing views. The staff was so nice and it was amazing to see their students dance. It was hard, but I knew that the School of American Ballet was not going to work out financially at that point in time. I still think about the people I met there and the students, so watching Centerstage made me sad, but I'm hoping to perhaps were there for a short stint next summer so we'll see, somehow I know I'll cross paths with the School of American Ballet again.
Falcon's Beach: So last night a bunch of us were hanging out at my 2nd apartment aka Katie Davis's place and we (Katie & Doc mostly) made fajitas and dip and we spent 3 hours glued to the television watching the worst television show ever. It's called Falcon's Beach and it's on ABC Family, it was like a low budget Canadian knock off of the OC or something. It was so bad, but yet we couldn't stop watching it. Between episodes the characters hair or outfits would change dramatically (we were all like isn't this supposed to be the same day??) And like EVERY actor on the show looked like a less attractive blend of other celebrities...it was hilarious, well the commentary between all of us the whole time was hilarious.
Mary Martha: I get so excited for random Auburn siting. Last night when we were in Wal-Mart buying fajita stuff we saw Mary Martha there and I was so excited to see another person I knew out and about randomly.
Natty Lite: So tonight all of sudden without even really thinking I go to ask Natalie for a ride home and I call her Natty Lite...which then lead to all of us dying laughing. I tend to just dub people with nicknames out of nowhere and this was no exception. So from here on out please refer to Natalie Jennings as Natty Lite thanks.
Oliver: Just wanted to mention Oliver because he stalks my life and nearly LIED about it today. I was taking about something in my blog and if he read it, he was about to say he didn't read it, but then he's like no no I'm not gonna lie of course I read it. So yeah basically I have no reason to speak to Oliver anymore since apparently he enjoys just getting info from me via my blog...haha kidding. 143 Oliver. Which for the record 1-4-3 is I love you...which apparently no one in the south has like ever heard...so I need some people to tell me I'm not crazy. 143 remember when the pagers were cool and people would type like number codes in and stuff. So please prove to Oliver and the others who think I'm insane that you know what I'm taking about in regards to 143. And other people down here didn't know what ily or imy was. I'm not even gonna go into it on here...it's sad how some slang doesn't translate in other parts of the country, especially slang that I enjoy and overuse.
Party Barns: Oh Party Barns...this was the topic that I forgot I had wanted to write about because I didn't write it on my hand the other day, but have no fear I'm writing about it now. A party barn is apparently in the back yard of like fraternity houses where they host parties, especially band parties. What you ask is a band party, the fraternities hire bands like Velcro Pygmies and other bands (usually cover bands) to play and their parties. The band plays in either the basement of the fraternity house or in the party barn. I have not yet seen a party barn...vacant or otherwise, but I am determined to get a picture of one to share with all of you who were probably just as perplexed as I was in regards to that term.
Pygmies Website: So I just checked the Velcro Pygmies site and I made not one picture but two. I know I'd be in one pic because me and some of the girls posed for it, but I'm randomly in the back of another. If you are bored, go to their site and play "Where's Jenn" (similar to where's waldo, but clearly you are looking for a much for attractive and zany character).
Okay I need to go to bed considering I got 4 hours of sleep last night and most of you know how I like to get at least 2 or 3 times more than that.

I am just writing to vouch for Gintern and her Northern slang. 143 is I love you for sure from the pagers back in the day "which was a Wednesday"!
I am also a big fan of only using the first letter of each word you actually want to say like ily, imy, out of pure laziness etc :)
And I'm looking forward to coming down to bama for a crazy visit!
Ha ha, 143 definately means "I Love You" -- we even used that in one of the orientation videos that we made when I was an orientation leader at SUNY Oswego! Jenn...I'll have to show you that video sometime, you'd looove to see me making a complete fool out of myself while singing and dancing! ha!
